Happy CNY to all. And by all i mean to all, bcoz everone is going to have a blissful chinese new year. Yay, its that time of the year again, holidays. Its nice to know that someone is going overseas for a few days. Cool....perth. While the rest of us will "kipas-ing lalat", just remember to spend time with family and frens, and do ur 'blessed' homework. And dont worry booOOya.... i wont be doing too much studying.

Ya, guess who i met in Queensbay, yesterday. It was Mr.SEAN. There he was, walking gracefully out of F.O.S on the 2nd floor. He wore the most pretty overflowing pink tunic. His soft silky hair tied to the back. and an expensive sun glasses from Ray-ban(over his head), with the price tag still attached to it. If my eyes wasn't deceiving me(due to the exuberance) i read it as RM 299.99.

haha nolah. it was nice to bump into him there. he looked joyful, and also seemed to be a bit in a hurry. hehe.

anyways have a blast this holidays and come back refreshed. We have to prepare for exam and moral assignment.

Us KDU college students are given a week off for the Chinese New Year. So I'll be leaving soon for my family vacation to Perth, Australia for a couple of days. It's our occasional family time we spent together travelling different countries every single year. I've been doing that every since I could travel on an airplane. Travelling to different countries gives me different experiences. So I'll be back right in time for college. See you all soon a week's time!! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL CHINESE!!! speed dating..a boost or a bane?

i think that speed dating should be banned in all countries because it is a complete and utter waste of time, effort, and energy!
i mean c'mon..
are you that desperate?
and whats with the 3 minutes or 5 minutes per guy or girl?
we shouldnt time ourselves to get to know a person..
lol..
on thursday we had a little session of our own and i must tell you it was fun but at the same time horrible..
we didnt know what to say, which made us look stupid, then made us feel uncomfortable, and made us feel shy, so time ran out, and we had to move to the next person..
speed dating shouldnt even cross our minds to spice up our personal life..
are you really sure that you're gonna meet THE ONE during a speed dating session?
what are the chances of that?
PLUS, arent you putting yourself TOO out there and revealing stuff about yourself to a complete stranger not knowing what his or her real intentions are??

just the tought of telling a serial killer or a terrorist what your interests are scares the crap out of me..
we should always think twice before getting into anything so that we wont regret later on..
for the record, dont you wanna meet someone while jogging in the park, or in a fancy restaurant, or at a close friends party? OR in a crowded, smelly, unsafe hall filled with wierd-O's?

CHinese New Year is next week! =) and...... we get a WEEK off. haha. although its juz a week... but yea,be thankful. lolx. better than none.
Its time for shopping ,catch up with my buddies and DOING HOmeworkSssss... (sadly). There is homework for almost every subjectx... EXcept english! (PHew!) hehe. minus one burden.kidding.
This week was ok... n crazy. We tried playing speed dating during english class. had fun laughing out though. haha. will nvr ever go for speed dating thingy. coz i suck at it. haha. wE had minor exams too.. although sir claim it "easy" haha.... dun be suprise.... i wont score.... coz i crap all the way. haha. take it easy man.
So, eat all you can during CNY. See you guys when " school " re-opens, round cute n prosperous! lolx.

Even though Chinese New Year is coming soon, I can't any atmosphere about it. Although the people who surround me are Chinese, we also don't talk about this celebration. Well...!!
"A heavy purse makes a light heart." I got a week for vacation. My family already plant going to Cameera Hightland and coming back on 6th of Chinese New Year to celebrate my mum's birthday. Furthermore. I am going to visit my secondary school's teachers with my ex-classmate in that moment too.

all of us are in the multimedia lab struggling with our computer tasks..well, technically not struggling..(we're actually copy and pasting each others tasks to finish faster..) lol..

i missed english on monday cause of a stupid cold..but i bet all of you guys missed me! =D

No doubt .. academic english is something so different from english ... Posting in a blog has never been what i had in mind as a College Assignment .. but still its pretty cool ..

What the heck .. i`ll just talk about the (i still don`t know) ......
i`ll just write out those i know in college ..

First Few Friends : beyonce , nicholas cage , ben affleck(i don`t know if this is the right spelling) , anne hatt..something , and miley cyrus i guess ..


First Sir/ lecturer : The One and Only .. world famous Mr. Sean Khoo
obviously being the first lecturer i`d be in his class first ..
later on i met a few more people .. and knew a few more people .. and then continued to knowing more people .. and more Lecturers .. and then the longer i am in college i met more people .. and i still hope to meet more .. and hope that all lecturers are like fun and nice and gives NO HOMEWORK !!! (i think i must be dreaming for the last Hope)

i am not a good writer and i guess this post would be the suckiest of all but WHO THE F*&%K CARES!! .. lolx ...

nEW year, new beginning

*AHEMN..... we are doing ouR homework..... juz waiting for someone to start oNly.... hahaha...
and i shall continue the Flow.... haha.

Did anyone just said college was less stressful than school life???? haha.... nt for ME... the phrase "so far college has been easier to handle"... haha. might be true... but as weekS passes by... you will knw how it is like. and it will probably be no more less stressful word in this blog. lol. kidding.
Starting college is fun .... we get to make new friends .. some funny one too. haha. this cheers me up. ;) lecturers... who are waY diff than our school teacher. lol. no more spoon feeding. lol
oH yea, I do agree that we have a really fun english lecturer.... its like after those "serious" lessons of paying attention... we get to attend english lessons twice a week conducted by sean n most of the time we LOL. its like a lol class. haha. kidding. Its not tht we play all the time when it comes to english lessons, juz making learning english a fun subject..
anyway, i will be looking forward to more fun lessons activities . =)

ACADEMIC E-N-G-L-I-S-H!!

According to the Oxford dictionary,
Academic means:
1.Connected to education especially in schools & universities.
2.Involving a lot of reading & studying rather than practical/technical skills.
3.Not connected to a real/practical situation.

English means:
1.The language, originally from England, now spoken in many other countries& used as a language of international communication throughout the world
2.Literature as a subject of study

Well.. our ACADEMIC ENGLISH class is the total opposite of what it means. We do not learn English academically but we learn the subject in a much more fun & interesting way. Thanks to our lecturer, Mr. Sean Khoo. On Thursday, the 15th of January 2009, we had our very own Golden Globe Award in class. We started of with introducing our "fake celebrity identities" & being interviewed by the world's famous American Idol, E!News Host & KIIS fm's American top 40's DJ Ryan Seacrest from Penang, Malaysia. The celebrities present were the "rose from the dead" Dark Knight's actor as "the Joker", Heath Ledger, Princess Diaries' actress, Anne Hathaway, Disney's Hannah Montana's actress, Miley Cyrus, Daredevil's actor Ben Affleck, Miss Sasha Fierce, Beyonce Knowles, Bangkok Dangerous' actor Nicholas Cage & Memoirs of A Geisha's actress Zhang ZiYi.
After the interviews, we learnt about the 4 basics of drama. We had to act out what Sean asks us to portray. It somehow practically like charades. Then we were splited into 2 groups to act out a scene & the other group had to guess it. After that, we were again splited into 2 different groups to play charades. So there were 2 groups, the Sewer Rangers & the Clean Freaks. The Clean Freaks won although they have less knowledge about the entertainment world. So, it was practically a lesson learning about drama. It was quite a good experience for us all. I love college life at the moment. It's way better than school life. Although there's a lot of work to do, but it not so hectic as high school life.

A fightening experience!!

Finally, I got the 40% of sibling discount so I don't need to leave KDU. In addition, I have already been annoyed about that around two weeks. I really loathe the staff of student record department. As she gave me the wrong information, bad service and unhappier face. I am extremely disappointed. how many students' dreams destroyed because of her unresponsibity working behaviour? Fortunately, I got my sibling (brother & sister ) and sister-in-law helping me. From their information, I must have this benefit. In fact, without them,probably, I won't have chance to meet my classmate in the future.

im surprised that no one has written in our blog.(c'mon people..do your homework!)
Anyway i figured that it'd be the easiest way to just say "hey! im first to write in our blog!" and consider that as my homework to sean..lol..
but i wont do that..=)
as my first ever post (since i have NEVER blogged), i would like to share with all of you what i think about starting college and the past few english classes with sean..lol..

everything seems to be moving at top speed..
first you start primary school, before you know it, you've finished your spm and starting college!
i like it when we learn lots of things growing up and become young adults with much more responsibilities..to be able to make some of our own decisions..
so far college has been fun and a lot easier to handle, not like spm where you have like 11 subjects to get an A in..-_-
plus college is a lot more laid back and less stressful..especially when you have a really fun english lecturer! lol..=)
seans classes to me are the most exciting and interesting classes for the past 2 weeks..
the last class we did was really fun..
watching the sewer rangers lose to us clean freaks..(eventhough we had 3 members and 2 of them didnt know donald trump) haha.
anyways i seriously cant wait to see what we're gonna be doing next in english class..so sean, please let us have more fun! lol
